What should a L/C show puppies coat look like when they are around 8 to 10 weeks old?
If you dont mind sharing photos too, that would be loads of help

I have no photos but I've noticed long haired puppies just look super fuzzy at first, I don't know when they start to look like a long coat.

aw! Perry is gorgeous!!

so for a show prospect its better to have a long fluffy coat rather than a more flat smooth long coat?

it also depends on the judge the standards say 'feathering' but some judges seem to like them over coated, my little lolly only has fringing and she got a 2nd today at the British chihuahua club show to her sisters 1st place.

Perry is gorgeous Loulou!!

Mine were all real little fuzz balls when I got them, when they got to about 4 or 5 months, the fuzziness disappeared and they began to get their adult coats in slowly but surely.
