It's the plume I said ages ago in a thread lcs carry ther tails higher and further over but I put it down to the plume
At the shows I've been to I always noticed they were pretty flat on their back. It's kind of rare to see one carry it "up" at least from what I can tell. Maybe the fur is heavier, IDK, but I just have noticed its different. B'c the way they hold tails for LC and SC on the table is different, even though the standard is supposedly the same...hmmm.

he looks lovely, hoping that tail sorts it self out for you would be a shame if you cant show him because of it, i just love his little face
we are starting to get the flat tail problem over here because the coats are weighing it down. here is a recent critique that the judge points it out in http://www.dogworld.co.uk/Show-Repor...CH-SHOW-10-CHL
and i would also like to point out doughnuts tail does not lie flat to her back its just the way its held in the pic, here you can see her as a puppy with a perfect tail set http://bramerita.com/index.php?link_name=doughnut i have seen her a few times in the ring to and she isnt anything less than PERFECT otherwise she whouldnt be the top winning dog of all time in the uk

In the US we walk them on the left and stack them left side toward the judge (at least that's what everyone has told me and what I've seen here). The pattern you take on in the ring makes that make sense, it was just where hubby was sitting w/ camera.

The tail's not a DQ and once it fills out won't even be noticeable so I'm not too worried, if his bite went off I might not show him, but not because of the tail.

That's the same as we do it here, its just i thought our view from the camera was the judges view.
