Is there a typical dress code when showing, I ask as when I go to the BCC this weekend, I was planning on wearing my black wrangler jeans with my new sweatshirt that has a logo of 3 Chi's and the lettering Chihuahua underneath along with my waistcoat that also has a Chi logo and Chihuahua wrote underneath.

I do see a lot of woman wearing suits though I do see a lot of men and woman clean but raggy looking

My suits no longer fit me coz a got a bit chubby... "Who did that to me"?

So will my tog look okay or should I wear something different

well i usually dress smart for champ shows and smart-casual for open shows and i usually wear something that bentley will stand out against so usually black - but as u have seen there is a mix usually

its a championship show

im not sure Dawn as i said u get a mix like a few weeks ago at the Longcoat champ people were fairly casual - prob best to go what u feel comfortable in

Champion show. I'll have a dig around in my wardrobe and see what clothes I have left that I can wear lol

You can wear what you want TBH a majority of the experienced breeders do wear suits or something smart - mainly because it looks more professional. Plus I suppose they stand more if a chance of winning and going in the 'big' ring where lots of other people will see you. Wear what you feel comfortable in and what shows off your dog the best. Wear something black if to have a red dog as it will show them off more
