This breeder shows her dogs. She has new boys just born. I was wondering if either of these are good. The second boy is a long coat. Is a person able to choose when they are this young? Or is it better to wait until later?

It's really too young when they are that age. The absolute minimum age you can "start" to predict show quality, if you're very experienced, and know your lines, is 8 weeks. 6 months is the standard age to start labeling pups as "show prospects" and 10 or so months, "show quality". The first 3 all look like dilutes, which won't show well. The last will be the best coloring-wise for show IF he gets black pigment. If not...I'd keep looking

You can't tell anything about structure at that age or heads even, really. Just too soon to tell
