Did you add white markings in addition to choosing black and tan? Eden has a ton of black, a touch of tan and her whole chest is white.

I was going to complete her AKC registration tonight and wondered if you added that if your baby also had a bunch of white.

I would say black and tan with white markings. I had no idea that tricolor wasn't an option!!!

Oh really, didn't know it's not an option. But maybe it could be too confusing as chocolate/ tan and white, blue/ tan and white and lilac/tan and white are also tricolours.

That is what I will choose. I feel silly. Her breeder has her written as black and tan with white on her paperwork yet I have been calling her a Tricolor. Then I pulled up the choices and was surprised as well.

Since she is 8 months and not 8 weeks, I can be more certain her white is here to stay.
