My Chico is 3 mths and has been doing GREAT with the pee pad with one exception. He has recently been going pee in his crate as well! I already used the divider and only gave him the space he needs but for some reason he keeps peeing there. I leave it closed during the day because if it is open he will go there instead of the pad. I wash his blanket every time he goes there and spray the crate with an all natural deodorizer. Is there anything else you would recommend me do?
I would leave the divider out and let him have some space to go in the crate. Then as he matures, he might decide that the pee pad outside is better. Mine all have a washable pad inside their playpens, and the doors are open during the day. There is also one pad down behind/beside the couch that they use.

I had a spot for him in his crate before, but many people on forums were saying not to so I removed it. When it was in the crate tho he wasn't having any accidents... Hmmm 😒
