I am not a veggie person at all. I was afraid that would be my biggest problem (eating the right amount of veggies in a day)
I put ˝ cup of fresh green beans, tomato, and baby spinach (cut up) in a bowl with 2 cups of chopped lettuce and 3 baby carrots (cut up) and mixed in 2 tablespoons Hidden Valley Light Ranch dressing. WOW is it good! And only 2 points (for us WW points people)! I find myself having to add either some fat free yogurt or cottage cheese because I am suppose to use up all of my daily points.
I know it sounds silly but I am really happy that this salad was good. I know now what I will be making the night before for lunch at work!
Also I bought some lemon and put that in my water…much better. I still don’t like to drink so much water but my hope is as the weeks go it will become easier.
Sorry, was just excited that I found a way to sneak in my veggies.
Here is a great link that tells u how much fruit and veggies u should get in a day and what is considered a serving...shocked to see how small a serving was
