i think walking really helps a lot. take your chi and just start walking everyday. also crunches are good for getting a flat stomach

Umm, I'm not an expert or anything, but I think if your c-section scar tears when you do crunches, you need to see your doctor about that....

You had a c-section 2 years ago and your having issues with the scar/incision? That is pretty serious actually, I'm no doctor but an infection starts that way. I know scar tissue can hurt after awhile but in 2 years you should be fine. I would look into that, just to be safe.

And for weight loss cardio is the way to go. I do 50 min on the treadmill (sucking my tummy in the whole time) and then 15 on the elliptical. I used to only be able to do 5 on the darn thing but now I can go to 15.

Also with c-sections your ab muscles can be torn (with big belly's too) so that in itself can make it tough to get a flat tummy.

Ha! I'm having the same problem. Not the c section, but the tummy. The problem I've got is I'm a junk food addict. Crunches don't work for me. They did in highschool but now I just can't get rid of the stupid belly! It looks like I'm 5 months pregnant sometimes..and I'm pretty sure I'm not lol.
