ok some of you that know me from before will know i suffered with a really bad cough day and night FOR NINE AND A HALF MONTHS SOLID

I had all sorts of tests, chest x rays spirographs all sorts of meds etc etc..

I THOUGHT it was postnasal drip caused by an allergy

nope......... anyone care to guess what it was????


A SIDE EFFECT OF MEDS!!
SO I stopped taking my lisinopril, and wham, two weeks later cough free!

Today my gp started me on a new tablet for blood pressure, and to protect my kidneys from failure and stuff like that... but warned me it may make me dizzy for a while!

Dont ya just hate having to take tablets to stop the effects of other tablets!
(I have to take lansoprozaloe to stop the gastric upset caused by aspirin lol)

I DO have a cough again now, but it has been 2 months since i last had one, and my kids both have one too.

amazing how a cough can ruin your life!

why a woohoo for sucha thing like that?! lol...oh no coughing is very irritating i know how that feels...please feel better soon. i remember when i ate a watermelon before and found out i was allergic after years of eating it, i was coughing for 2 months straight...i know it's nothing compared to yours get a better doctor! haha

I feel tonnes better, and the slight cough i have now is nothing, i had FOUR chest infections in those 9 months as well, i coughed day and night sometimes so much I would cough up blood and have sore lungs, sore throat, face, neck, back, chest

I literally wondered how my lungs hadnt popped inside out I coughed that much!

thank gooodness it is over at long last...

oh my...blood! thats awful ur very strong for being able to go through all of this without giving up. kudos!

you wouldnt believe how i wanted to give up though, but there was nothing I did that worked .
I spent £30 on chinese herbal medicines, that have shifted a chest infection for me before, I bought all brands of cough meds I could find, I tried menthol crystals, eucalyptus oils and all sorts....

I have heard of some poor people having coughs FOR YEARS and they arent on those blood pressure tablets, I cant imagine how depressed and crazy that must drive them!!

for regular coughs caused by colds chloraseptic drops is the best. just had to add that in just in case u get a cold/sore throat ^^
