Question Mum's Bum

I hope this caught your attention

I told my mom I'd come on here for any potential tips.
She and I both work at the same place. We're motel clerks, so we do a lot of sitting, and then we come home and do more sitting. Lately, her butt has been bothering her, nothing pain wise. She said she feels like she's losing her "cushion."

Anything she can do?

No expert on exercise!!! But it sounds as though she is losing muscle tone?

Hope someone can recommend appropriate exercises....might try them myself!

it's not great to sit all the time. that leads to laziness and more calories that could've been lost by standing just sitting there as for losing her "cushion" you can actually get pressure sores from sitting all day long for a long period of time. it is also horrible for your back posture/severe shoulder pain...leading to scholiosis which i have =.=
i think the best thing for her is to get up more and move around. also what kind of chair do you have?

Maybe a few times each shift she could get up to standing and kick one leg back and tighten the glute as she does this, about 15 reps each. The is an easy one. she needs to build the rear end cushion back with muscle. squats are good too but more difficult.
