I am wondering if anyone can recommend a good quality nail varnish, long lasting and in a neutral, natural colour? Or even a "make" that's worth considering.

have you heard of superdrug? they do a set in there thats like the french manicure look. a lovely natural colour, ill see if i can find a link x

I adore Illamasque nail varnish, goes on a dream. Get if from larger debenhams and online as well.
Its pretty expensive at £12.50 but I have tried loads and this is by far the best.
I get the funky colours, they have loads, but im sure that they do more natural/neutral colours as well!

Thankyou for that, I might treat myself to the more expensive one as your mum has used it, will let you know what I think

Now I just need to look after my nails until Christmas, I hate it when they break at the last moment...
