Do any of you get bored with your hair colour, for folks that colour it?
Am getting so bored with my black hair so have been letting it come out and am going to try to get more out using vosene soon, haha!!
I heard that or head and shoulders shampoo help to strip colour a bit.
If i wait again for the colour to fade it could take years with the length of it.
My roots are so in but i dont care.
Am just kinda hiding away till i can show my face. LOL

I have some black hairdye just now, but have put off doing it cause i know i will be fed up and regret it.
I want to do a deep plum/purple colour.
I dont want to bleach it first though, even though i did have my hairstylist do that for a bright red fringe/bangs and sides, a while back.
It was lovely and in great condition, but just too much upkeep, and so dont like when it goes pink. LOL
I got lots of compliments when i also had a very vibrant burgandy colour, but again i got bored.
I do it myself anyway, but since my hair is so bloomin long it takes ages, god help me!!
Am i kiddin myself that this Vosene or head and shoulders will help get some of the black out?
I am goin to try anyway.
I just washed it again about half an hour ago, dont have those shampoos though yet, and i saw that quite a bit of colour was coming out anyway, hehe!!
Just wondering what brand of hair colur to buy.
I use L'Oreal casting creme gloss, and it is really good, makes my hair feel very soft and looks shiney, so i may just go for that in plum.
It has no amonia too which i like and actually smells nice. lol
Just hope i can see the purple/plum colour when it's done.
I though of Live XXL cyber purple, but i used the blue black one years ago and it burned like mad, and the next day i had flakes of skin coming off!! so not good!!
The colour was good, but didnt last that long and not worth the pain.
The smell of it was so strong i just knew it was bad.

The only thing i like about havin black hair is my red lippy looks cool with it, but am sure should be fine with a dark purple. LOL
Of course i will most likely get bored again and go back to black at some point.
What am i like eh.

I used to be awful for dying my hair, I've been ginger, chestnut, brown, black, had red slices, blonde streaks, highlights, low lights, purple streaks anddd had under my fringe and down the front of my hair done, blue, green, pink, turquoise and purple! I'm used to be terrible haha, changing it every week literally! I'm better now, it's actually a nice natural auburn brown now

If you don't want to bleach your hair, but you want the colour out, you could use stripper Idk the proper name for it, but you can get it from hair dressing supply shops!

Casting Creme Gloss is brilliant - so much easier on your hair and scalp than others - yeah use the head and shoulders I have used that when my hair has turned out too dark and it does really work - if you put the plum in now, it will take a bit and then in about 2 or 3 weeks use it again and it should be better.

I used to V V V adventurous with colour everying from, red, pink, blue, orange, blond etc etc even orange with green on the ends, I was like a peacock lol!!!

My hair is naturally black, with a hint of grey at the front

I get a really vibrant purple semi-perm put on every 6 weeks and in normal light it looks really dark, just kinda black but in un-natural light or daylight it looks mega purple, I really like it and my hair has never been in such good condition. WHen I had the wild funky coloured the had to pre-bleach my hair and my hair was like cotton wool lol!

I think a dark purple would look ace on you Terri, I was gonna suggest the Live colours as thats what I have used before but I see that you have tried them and you had flakes of skin coming off - not good! Not used any other brands so I can't really help, I get the hairdresser to do it cause I always make a BIG mess when I do it at home!

I find that Head & Shoulders is good to strip colour out of hair? I use Alberto Basam? Is that how you spell it? lol it smells great and makes your hair nice

HAHA!! good to see am not the only one that has went crazy with colours over the years.
I had an electric blue down the sides and on my fringe for my 30th birthday. lol
I also had my hair bleachd blonde many years ago. hehe!!
I got that done at the salon and was in good condition.
It's funny i would never dream of having light hair now even though that is my natural colour.
When my roots are in you can really see them, plus sadly now i have a few greys at the front. BOO!! lol
I will def get the head and shoulders then to help get some of the black out.

Yeah Rio i think the thing you mean is called colour fix?, from Sallys, but i dont want to do that really, my hair is in good nick so dont want to chance puting anythin harsh on it, especially at home myself.
Dont want to end up with Orange or green hair, (sorry Lynda lol) that would be my luck, least i can still go out this way. haha!!

I think you can get it from Sally Hansens yeh I used it on mine at home and it turned out pretty good actually, softer than before 'cause years of build up was removed (said my hairdresser)
