After wearing glasses nearly all my life well since I was old enough too, I am considering laser treatment. I hate wearing glasses so much simple things like glasses steaming up when go inside after being a walk in the cold and not being able to see the clock during the night when I waken up.

Wondering if anyone here has had it done and any reviews for me.

I ordered new glasses last week, they arrived today and I hate them loads, back tomorrow to pick new ones, luckily they have a 30day returns policy though, its the last straw and prompted me to seriously think about treatment.

I'm highly recommend lasik eye surgery....I got my done like 6 years ago...it's one of the best investment ever....I can see so much better at night too....good luck and you will love....

I talked my best friend into getting lasik surgery. She was blind as a bat. She had it rough at the beginning because of dry socket, but she is so glad she went through it. I was amazed how quick the process was. I know that if I ever need it, no doubt I will get it done.

One of my very best friends had this done about 2 years ago. She had to wear glassed 24 hours a day, she was blind as a bat! Her vision in perfect now, and she loves it!! After knowing her most of my life it was hard getting used to her with out her glasses lol she looked so different, but she always says it was fast almost no pain and would do it all over again if she had to

I had lasik done about 14 years ago. I too was blind as a bat. Couldn't see anything without my glasses. It was the best thing I have ever had done for myself. Very quick, no pain.

Thanks for that...I am thinking of this as well. I can't imagine fumbling around with contact in my old age ...hahah. I am not good with glasses, I can't wear them to work out, or cook or wash dishes and the fall or break. When I was just in hospital, I had them with me and looked in the bedding for ages and couldn't find them..just about to ring for help and realised they were on my face...ugh !!

My OH's Uncle got it done because he was blind as a bat and everything went well. He can see fine. My OH is blind as a bat but WON'T get it done because his mom did a report on it a couple years ago and did some deep digging and found out some pretty creepy stuff. I don't wear glasses but I wouldn't get it done if it was me. (I'm a wuss LOL) I know many people who have had it done though and never had an issue!

My mom had Lasik done a few years ago, she had a great experience. Wore glasses all her life with the same complaints, always fogging up when she unloading the dishwasher or came in from outside. She no longer needs glasses, and sees so much better at night. She always used to be afraid to drive at night but now she feels comfortable doing so. I think you should go for it! Glasses are much more fun to wear when theyre optional!
