in my younger years i used to color my hair regularly, both professionally done and home done LOL...so it caused split ends over time. after that i havent touched my hair in terms of color and its doing well and i grew to like my natural color...as i have natural red streaks on the front roots of my hair and also some light colors when the sun hits my hair outside! i guess its the after effects of the colors bein permanent somehow

since ive cut my hair a couple times already its time to get a japanese hair straightening perm again...this takes anywhere from 3 to 5 hours depending on the hair saloon u go to. it usually ends up costing me around $200 including tip but well worth it cant wait to go soon!

I've got straight baby fine hair...lots of it though...I have gotten perms in the past...now I don't fight the straight and my hair grows fast I had it short(hair dresser went scissor crazy while she was pregnant) for two years..now am growing it out and it's down to my shoulders again where I like it..easy to pull back and not stringy looking.. it took me three months with a couple of trimming of the ends. Now as to color...I'm a "red" head...LOL not a bright red more an auburn...naturally coloring of skin so the hair looks more natural then my natural color...Go figure.

I love hair!! I used to do a shorter cut for summer then let it grow longer through the winter but right now I am loving my hair length and cut, I have been getting compliments on it so I'm keeping it this way for awhile and focusing on keeping it trimmed and bouncy instead. it is long layers with thick full bangs.
I don't color my hair anymore but every now and then I have strong urges to throw in some auburn again. The greys grab that auburn color and it looks like highlights, I like it so much but can't handle grow out. So now I have decided that I am not going grey, I am growing out my silver highlights.

For the first time EVER I highlighted my hair this spring...by the end of summer it was SO blonde. I'm a natural blonde, but not that "bright bleached blonde" look - more natural beachy blonde. I colored it this past week to an auburn to match the "season" LOL. I remember being in high school & girls doing that constantly & never understanding why...but now I do!!!
