Default Weight Watchers...does it work?

After seeing my pics from the wedding I have decided it is time for me to get serious and start up weight watchers. I am on the Flex Plan. My goal is to drop 15lbs in 3 months.

Does anyone else have any advise on this diet plan. I have never used weight watchers before. Does it work?

I was on it once and lost a total of 25 pounds. I'm about to go back on it again. I think it is a great plan. Very easy to follow. I got my dad and stepmom on it as well and it worked great for them also.

Only reason I had ever gone off the diet was due to a mess of health problems that came up. Because of that I fell off the wagon hard. I am anxious to get started again. Only thing that is holding me back at the moment is the expense.

I know how you feel. I bit the bullet and paid the 3month plan. I guess I will just have to budge myself differently because I feel I really need to do this.
I am happy to hear you had such a great success with it. Its really too bad you ended up with health problems...that can really derail any diet...but your health is the #1 priority. At least you know you can loose the weight and that the diet did work for you.

We should become weight watcher buddies...lol. I am going to post in the diet group thread.

Let me know when you are able to start it up again. We can keep eachother on track

Yeah, the health problems caused a big mess. Worst thing is they can come back at any time as there is no way of preventing it. Kind of like gall stones but minus the gall bladder. Almost destroyed my liver because it went misdiagnosed for many months.

Anyways, I will definitely let you know once I get back on the program. I may end up doing the same as you... Will just have to really tighten the budget in other areas. I know the program works and it worked pretty quickly for me actually. Best thing about it is that you can eat anything you want just so long as you keep within the point limits for the day. Gotta love that!! Once I sign back up, I will post back in the diet group as well. May just be the extra motivation I need.

I'm about to join again ... I'll do the online version. I've lost 20 lbs TWICE! The first time I went to the meetings and the 2nd time I did it online.

I did the points plan each time, which can get pretty "boring" ... I am not a good cook and I tend to eat the same things over and over. But it's my own fault!
