I see on the news that Norovirus is really bad in the UK, loads of people laid up with it ..what is it about Christmas week that people always get sick - probably that we are all out shopping and socialising so much.

Glad I have this cold this week, and should be ok by Christmas

Yes the Novovirus sounds awful,they keep telling people to wash their hands after going out and touching money etc, I have some of that hand gel they use in hospitals don't think i'll be going out for a meal, safe to cook it yourself.Think i'm getting neurotic now.

Michele, yes so many bugs about - I travel into town a lot and the train is always full of coughers and sneezers and now we have to watch out too for that darn bug - it's all over the place here too, it would really be terrible to get it over Christmas.

Christmas celebrations starting here today, collecting two of my children from the airport, my son from Australia this morning and my daughter tonight from London - wahoooo, I have one daughter already at home - so all 3 chicks in the nest, I'm like mother hen when they are all home
