Default 'Good Search' - donate to your cause for free

Just found this while reading through the local humane society website.

There is a detailed explanation below in the faq link.

In short, if you use GoodSearch - Web search, coupons, discounts & deals for charity! (in place of yahoo or google),
you select a cause (who do you goodsearch for?) and then every time you enter a search, a donation is made to that cause.

They take 50 % of the revenue they make from advertisers and donate it.
I'm working on getting everyone locally to enter our Humane Society, but you can put in any cause.

Sorry, I did not think of that before.

I did some reading, it says they don't support charities outside the US yet - they are working to go international - however there is no indication that the process doesn't work if you are outside the US.

There is a list of charities to choose from -
Participating Nonprofits and Schools - CharityList-A1

It wouldn't hurt to try it, if you think of it.
If you can't find a suitable charity, consider Rock County Humane Society
(where I found Stella)
