Hi we don't go on holiday, we have 2 day breaks at UK attractions with the kids instead (I don't like leaving my pups with my mum any longer). I've been Alton Towers without my kids and thought it was breath-taking, very American-style!! I didn't realise they did so much for kids!! We was going to take them Legoland but are now reconsidering due to extensive negative feedback it's recieved these school holidays, apparently its really over-priced and really busy?
Any opinions?
My boys are 9 and 6 (we'd have to leave my 10mth old with my mum too) any other suggestions of AMAZING places to go?

Hi, I hvent been to Legoland for a while but the last time I was there I thought it was a bit boring but it would be great for young kids. 9 & 6 sound just the right ages to enjoy what's there. Cheesy from is also very good have u looked at that?

I went to Legoland Discovery Centre (Manchester) and couldnt believe the price for what it was. We were round it in an hour.

I live in Blackpool, its made for kids/big kids. I cant say I love the place or that I find it 'amazing' but holiday makers seem to love it;

The Pleasure Beach - It has the new Nikelodeon land now
Piers/lots of Arcades
The Beach
Zoo
Sealife Centre
Ripleys Oddatorium
2 Ice Skating rinks
Go Karting
Lots of shows on; Winter Gardens or Grand Theatre
Waxworks - which has just been re-done and is really good fun
The Tower - Which has Jungle Jims & The Tower Circus etc inside (-its Dungeons are still being renovated..)

& im sure loads more
