thanks everyone for all your well wishes in my last thread

well my apointment was for 10;30, but didnt actually go down for my procedure till 4pm, then they could not find a good vein for my sedatives, got this doctor, well he nearly took my arm off, so they sent for this male nurse, in 5 secs he was in!
then i "woke"with the camera going down my neck and tried to pull it out, all i remember after that was the doc shouting give her more!.
well the upshot is no pollops on y bowel, all clear, so they are putting it down to IBS. i do have an ulcer and a small tear in my upper osp,(im not even trying to spell it) so the took some biopsys, and put me on meds for 6 weeks, and back to the specialist in 12.
i was really worried when pollopswere mentioned, but i slept so well last night

Wow what a time you had for normally very easy experience.Glad everything else went well. 6 months ago I had same thing done. They said I have hiatal hernia and damage from heart burn, and below i had a precancerous polyp so that means I have to have re check every 3 years.

yep.. IBS.... sucks....... you really should watch what you eat now.... there is a good IBS forum on the Net....

I watch very closely what i eat now.... if I eat a 'no-no' food, such as a juicy steak, I will 'pay' for it the following day.... No-NO = steaks, pork, salad greens... spicy foods.... I eat ALOT of chicken.... I only eat 'no-no' foods on a Friday night or Saturday, then I have the weeknd to 'recoop' before going back to work....lol.....good luck on the IBS road .... I am sure there are many here that can help you with what not to eat... and listen when you need a shoulder...

oh and Immodium-D will be your BFF......lol
