does anyone else use their FoodSaver on the frozen food for your Chis?

I have Primal 1oz cubes and I don't want freezer burn before the bag is empty so I make little bags that hold 2 cubes(one days worth) and can take a days worth or more out at a time and not be afraid of freezer burn ... the bags are perforated down the middle so I can tear off 1 days worth(2cubes) or 2 days worth (4cubes)






or am I just nuts to do this?

If I had one of those I would use it for our meat for the dogs. The Ziploc baggies always come undone. Great idea!

Jan, you are a GENIUS!! I have a bag of primal in my freezer and unfortunately, it does tend to freezer burn, and Brody just has to eat it chewy and discolored. I'm sure your idea keeps it nice and fresh. What a fabulous idea.

I have already wore out 1 FoodSaver......lol..... just got this new one about a month ago and I absolutely love this thing!!! since it is only me in this house I buy whats on sale, which is usually WAY more than I can eat.... but I use the FoodSaver and throw the meat in the freezer and not be afraid of having to throw it out later because of freezer burn.... YUM!

it vacuums the air out.... so the food doesn't burn and will keep for months.... I love it!

I have a food Saver, I got for Christmas and sadly only used one time, but when my new kitchen is done Ill have a place for it and might use it more.

How much does it cost you a month to feed your Chi primal? Never seen it I just check it out and giving some thought.
