Unhappy Holy tramatic

Brad and I were driving home from getting grocries and out of nowhere this dog ran right in front of us brad swirved to miss her but she hit the corner on the front passenger side she bounced back up and ran right into the back of the car by the gas tank I was freaking I jumped out of the car before brad had even stopped to try and catch her to make sure she was okay she ran back out into the traffic and almost got hit by another lady who just layed on the horn by this point in crying so hard I can even see straight the dog came flying off the road and I got down really low and called her but she just took off behind a house then her owner showed up I was telling him how sorry we were. And he kept telling me if she's running she's okay don't worry about it blah blah I'm thinking how can u say its okay we just hit ur dog 2 times and ur okay with it?? He started screaming at the dog to get back over here so she came to him he lashed her and brought her over to me so. That I could see that she was okay her front right paw was bleeding and she was missing a nail other then that she seemed to be okay but she could have been in shock I don't know I offered to give the guy my number just in case but he refused. I'm glad she didn't die but holy that was scary. He said she was just coming inside the house bolted. I have finally calmed down about it 5 hours later but I still feel sick.

Wow how traumatic! So sorry that happened to you. If it was my dog that got hit by the car, I would not say " if she's running she's fine!"

i'm so sorry, that's horrible
once my daughter and i saw a chihuahua running around and he had tags on and there were people near him so i thought they were together and didn't bother going over to him or anything, then we were sitting at a nail salon and my mom is looking past me at some people outside and it was a family, mom, dad and 3 kids all crying hysterically as the dad held the dog i had just seen 10 minutes before in a black trash bag, all i saw was his legs hanging out, i knew it was him. luckily i caught my daughter in time before she turned around to look, she is such an animal lover she would have been traumatized. i felt horrible and still do to this day, probably about 6 months later it still makes me sick to my stomach.

Omg the poor thing
Why did its owner leave it off leash in a road anyway? thats just asking for a mishap to happen
And I can't believe he just dismissed it saying its ok! Yeah its ok cuz it wasn't you just hit by a car! he should have taken the poor dog to the vet to make sure there is no serious injury.
Some people shouldnt have dogs, seriously
I can bet it was a very traumatic day for you but try not to think about it too much now. It was an accident and you did the best thing on your part
