Angry biggest loser contest for dogs

A local area group are hosting a biggest loser contest for dogs, I don't like idea some people might go over board big time to make their dog lose weight to win. it really rubbing me wrong. poor dogs what will they have to go through so their parents to win.

I think that it would have to depend on what the prize is. But I do like the primis there are too many obese dogs. It would have to be monitored by a vet for sure tho and I can understand your concern.

The idea is good as I have seen way to many obese dogs, which is sad. I agree that this whole 'competition' would have to be closely monitered by a vet for it to be successful and not dangerous to the dog. Hopefully people will do this for the dogs health and not the grand prize.

Hopefully it is monitored by a vet, it can't be healthy for a dog to lose a lot of weight very quickly.

Biggest Loser for Dogs is a great idea. Too many obese people and their obese dogs to match. I should know....

yes it is if they don't dog's don't suffer the dogs in the process of trying to win, hope they have good guidelines.

good idea if done right but knowing how people go overboard or want attention who knows whatll happen.its like the moms of the 5yr old beauty queens-gives the wrong message n usually done for the wrong reasons
