Oh, wow, that is a truly hard decision. I don't envy you your decision. Best of luck. Why no dogs allowed?

Can you stay in a different place that allows dogs?

I wonder if instead of the housing they offer, if they'd give you a housing allowance. Pastors sometimes are given the option of housing the church owns, or a housing allowance. Our current pastor bought his own home out of that allowance. Then the church rents the parsonage. Also, how long is this job? If its a year or two, then maybe you could find foster families to care for your girls.? If not, and the above is not possible, you could find loving families for the girls.? Good luck. Sue

I could rent somewhere but my husband has put it in a way that he don't want the dogs to live with us. That this is our fresh start that's why I'm saying will I hate him. And I don't no if we will loose the house if we don't live there. I would get a mortgage but 40% deposit is way out of our reach. He has family there that I thought we could stay with them but they dont have dogs and he hasn't spoke to them for years. So it's the dogs or my husband in Australia. I mentioned to him that I could stay here if he is earning he could pay for the tickets for me to come for a week a month but that didn't go down well. This is so hard because I have thought up every excuse but there is like a gate at every path. I fell sick. I will be ringing the office tomorrow and I'm going to beg them but I'm stuck I haven't cryed for years and I can't let go of the dogs I fell Ill

That is really, really tough. Do you live in Australia now? If you don't, then I should probably mention that AU has a quarantine process that's required for all dogs entering the country as well. I think it's something like 30 days where the dogs have to be kept in a quarantine facility. I could be wrong on the length of time but I know when my dad moved to AU he mentioned that it was lucky he didn't have any dogs.

If you do decide to move to AU I would almost think it might be a better idea to rehome your munchkins no matter what due to the quarantine process, etc. It is a very, very, very difficult decision to make and I wish you the very best.
