My daughter called and he dog JR is sick he has been throwing up since yesterday, she not sure about poo as he goes out in field but I told her go with him next time. His puck is yellowish, she think he ate some bad spoiled food her boys through out side. I told her give him rice and burger only fresh water if not better tomorrow take him in to vet.
What do you think? He is about 8 years old never been sick. He is losing weight too. Up on all shots.

Is he throwing up yellow foamy stuff? Typically throwing up bile is a sign that their tummy was empty for too long. I would give his stomach time to settle and then feed him boiled rice and chicken or hamburger (less than a normal meal) and see if that doesn't help.

How long has he been losing weight for? That might indicated something serious if it has been going on for a while.

Update her Dog Jr is having surgery tomorrow, he ate carpet and is wrapped around his intestines. Not Good poor baby, she had to leave him tonight, she is worried sick. [IMG][/IMG]

Jr had his surgery and he ate a rug that had long string that kept going from one end to another, The where wrapped so tight around two intestines that they where growing together and had to be separated. She has a $1000 dollar bill so far and only has half so is freaking out. I don't have the money to give because Amberleah going to Michigan State university Hospital tues and going to have a huge vet bill too!! [IMG][/IMG]

Up date, on my daughter dog JR . He needs lots of Prayers, they had to take him back in to surgery, he got bad infection and they seen another pc rug in his intestines. They have him on strong antibiotic, The doctor said it is 50/50 % chance to live. Mean while her bill keeps adding up. she is at he $14 hundred dollar mark. Not including this surgery and treatments.
