Question PayPal Virgin

Hey guys!

Please don't judge me when I tell you this,lol...I am a PayPal virgin. I know, I know, I live in a cave,lol.
I have NEVER used it. So my question to the people that don't live under a rock, lol, is what do you think of PayPal?
Do you find it safe, easy to use, etc.?

Thanks for your input!!!

Don't feel bad I am too! I do however have a very good friend who uses it all the time and she says it is great. I think she even has a debit card for her account.

paypal can be ur friend and also ur worst enemy. as long as ur not dealin with ebay in terms of sellin ull be ok as ebay and paypal are "for" buyers not sellers. however if ur payin for sumthin its a breeze or sendin payment as well. sumtimes it charges paypal fees as well

Let's see. You set up your account, send me some money and I will tell you if you did it right. haha! Just kidding.

It is wonderful. I use it A LOT. I have been using it for years. Should I be embarrassed to say that??

It has been safe for me. And easy. Perhaps too easy for me?? haha!

I started using it a few years back to send money to my son (he was away at college out of state).

I am on a wavy/curly hair forum and sometimes buy products from people (some I "know" better than others) and PayPal is a safe way to do that. They never have a check of mine or my credit card.

You can link it to a bank account or credit card. Some of my friends opened a separate savings account that is only for their PayPal. They feel safer that way rather than linking it to their main bank account.

I love PayPal! I like that it's a secure, safe way to send money. It's been so convenient since most online places now accept PayPal. I had originally just set it up to use for Ebay purchases, but since then have been able to quickly and easily pay for things on various other sites too... almost everything has a "Pay using PayPal" button now in Checkout! Don't have to fill out a bunch of stuff every time. I definitely recommend it!

Kat brings up a good point. By using PayPal, you do not have to have your credit card information entered (and stored) on every site you shop.

Haha great! I thought I was the only one, lol.
Linking the debit card is exactly what I was interested in.

I was reading your reply thinking "ok, ok, sounds good"...then I reached the
"send me some money" part and decided I don't want to!!! Seriously
though, making a different account just for PayPal is brilliant, especially for
someone like me who worries too much about everything. Great idea! Thanks!

ps: You are so lucky to have wavy hair! Straight hair sucks!

Exactly, this is why I want to open an account with them...so I could buy
stuff! I love buying stuff! Now I just need to find some money! LOL
