there are SO many recipes here now that I will be eating mac n' cheese for a month!! LOL.... I will be spending the weekend at my sons so I intend to try a couple of these recipes out......... I will let you know how my cooking goes

I like Martha Stewart's. Perfect Macaroni and Cheese - Martha Stewart Comfort Foods I don't use the gruyere, just any romano at the store. I don't make it often. My silly hubby complains if I don't use Kraft. I actually use Costco's boxed mac n cheese now, with half the butter they say.

My kids' favorite meal is boxed mac n cheese with canned chicken and leftover vegetables, all mixed together with whatever leftover cheese I have melted in and sprinkled heavily with flavored breadcrumbs, with extra breadcrumbs on the table. It's sad that I can make fancy meals and get ho-hum results but I can make this or chicken breasts with cream of chicken in the crockpot (seriously, that's the whole recipe served with buttered noodles or rice) and I'm praised to the skies.
