Anybody know what i can do to get the sound back on my ipad,get music i've downloaded ok,no sound on games or email tones

I found this solution in an apple forum



My solution was a simple one as I suspected.

With iOS 4.3 - the side toggle above the volume control can be for orientation lock or mute. Mine was set to orientation lock.

However I discovered that double clicking the home button and swiping over to the old 4.2 software orientation lock button (Now a mute option) I saw something that needed to be adjusted.

I now have speaker audio with all apps.

I looked at that Kay,tried it nothing.my volume is ok because I can get iTunes.I will have to wait till my son in law comes at Xmas,Thanks for info.I will try and fiddle tonight

Have you looked at the 'settings' - 'Sounds' - will be settings for email/games .
