They finally called me to give me date for surgery, NOT till March 15, Wow long time to think about it GRR!!!
surgery is on a Thursdays and the hospital is 4 hours away, they want me to come in that Monday before for a few more test. That is a lot of driving in 1 week. Oh well God is in Charge.

LOL!!! They are trying to get that medical system in US...

It is because I have to have 2 different surgeons, one urology and one obgyn and I guess the obgyn is super busy.
They are going to try to figure out something sooner but not much chance. It will be at least a 3 hour surgery.

Sorry for being so nosy in advance! I don't know if you posted what type of surgery you're having in a different thread. I'm just super curious, because I suffer from a bladder disease and have had numerous surgeries.

2005 I had a bladder mesh/sling put in and urethra tape to lift it and caused so much trouble, it gave me a Bladder disease called IC ( interstitial cystitis) and the mesh/sling had flipped and going threw my vaginal wall, the urethra tape had cause my urethra to thin a lot and causes UTI all the time. I have sooo much scar tissue that it has practically closed my vaginal walls. So I am going to have it all fixed. My husband looking forward to it.

Theresa, did they really tell you that your sling caused IC?
That is the first time I hear of something like this, sounds odd.
Are you sure you did not have IC before the sling?
Sorry for the questions, I'm curious as you may know I suffer from severe IC.
