Good idea Sam I do sometimes wonder what people on here do/who they are. xxx

Well, my name is Charlotte (wait...really???!), and I am 19 years old. I live with my mum, Daisy, and my brother in the middle of nowhere in Devon, but I am a Somerset country girl really (Yes with the accent and all, haha). I haven't seen my dad for years now. I just see it that he's missed out on his kids growing up and going through college and uni and driving and all sorts. I have missed out on nothing, mum did everything for us to make us happy.

I am a nanny for a lovely little boy. Poor thing has Cystic Fibrosis, you wouldn't know if you saw him though, he is so happy and full of life. I often pick him up from school, and I stay with him till his parents get home. Apart from working with him, I also work with my mum, she has a wholesale business so I help with boxing orders. I am also her computer whizz, I do the website for her and all her flyers etc.

I have no kids and no man.

I had wanted a dog all my life, so when my hamster Midge died last february, mum decided I could finally have a dog. I love animals, except spiders.

I am currently studying a foundation degree in Early Childhood Studies. I am in my second year there. Hoping not to do the third year, I would like to get a job in a nursery or pre-school instead. Eventually I would like to work for myself, as a nursery owner or a child minder. Before my degree, I went to college (which was the worst 2 years ever - that college was horrible), where I pretty much just scraped through with 2 passes and 1 fail.

Your first impressions if you met me would be that I'm really quiet and shy. I myself have noticed recently that I only come out of my shell when I'm with Daisy, my family, or communicating with children.

In my spare time, I enjoy photo editing/making sigs, watching TV, playing on my phone & on my laptop, and hanging out with my little princess Daisy. I also sometimes draw, I am pretty alright at drawing manga.

Well, this is pretty long, if I think of more then I'll add more at a later time.
Looking forward to what everyone else puts.

What a good idea, it would be nice to know a bit more about everyone.

I'm Sarah, I'm 28 and I live with my husband in Melbourne, Australia.

My title at work is Media and Marketing Insights Manager, bit of a mouthful. Basically I read a lot of articles about media and use a lot of data analysis tools and put together presentations with lots of pretty pictures that help my colleagues sell advertising.

I'm doing a Masters of Business Administration part time and my husband runs his own business so our social life is a bit non existant at the moment. I'm always studying and he's always doing paperwork but at least we can each do these things with a Chi snuggled up on our laps now so that makes it slightly more bearable.

I'd had dogs all my life but when I moved out of home at 18 I left my Jack Russel on the family farm as I was moving to an apartment in the city and I thought it wasn't much of a life for a dog who had lived his whole life on a farm. Plus he was as much my Dad's dog as mine so I knew he would be well cared for and loved. I've waited 10 years to get another dog of my own. Literally 2 months after we sold our apartment and bought a proper house I got Axle and I think he just made our house a home and my husband and I a family. Then we added little Chloe 2 months later and our family is now complete.

When I'm not studying I love reading magazines and reading books about the media and consumer behaviour - must mean I'm doing the job I'm meant to or something. And of course my favourite thing that I always make time for is taking Axle and Chloe to the park every night, I can just watch them play for hours its so adorable!

My name is Karen.
I am 47. I am married.
I live in the U.S. I am in Missouri, the middle of the country.
My job title is Creative Marketing Account Manager. I work for a very large corporation where I have been for almost 26 years. I went to work there straight from college/university. My husband has been with the same corporation for almost 28 years. We met at work.
I have a son who will be 29 this year. He is married and he and his sweet wife have an 18 month old daughter.
I have a step daughter who will be 28 this year. She and her husband have two sons. One will be 4 in July and the baby will be 1 in May.
Both sets of kids live away from us. Perhaps this is why we have baby dogs!

I am an avid gardener. Some pics of my garden have been in blogs (not my own), magazines, websites and a book! My garden includes old windows, gates, a recycled bicycle, wagon, old fence pieces and even an old 17' aluminum canoe filled with tomato plants and flowers!

Here is a pic (even though you did not ask for this!):

Love this idea. I'm Tina, and I'm 45yrs old. My husband of 26 yrs and I live just outside of Mobile, Al. and I love to go to the Beach in the summer. We have 20 yr.old twin boys that both work full-time for my husband but recently moved out together. Now it's just me, hubby, and Lulu at home. My husband does inside trim carpentry on new residential houses. I do his bookwork and am my mother's real estate assistant (both "jobs" give me a lot of time home with Lulu and neither boss will fire me haha). I sing in the choir at our church--I love to sing, but I don't necessarily have a great voice; otherwise, I guess some would say we are probably pretty boring people, but we are very happy. We love being home--we are bigtime homebodies and Lulu loves it!!

I've wondered who everyone is on here too.

I'm 31 years old, married for 11 years, and have 3 daughters (9, 5, 2). I've been a stay at home mom since my oldest was 3. My husband works overseas in Brazil and makes a good living for us so that I can be at home. Right where I want to be. But that doesn't mean that I live a boring life! I homeschool my kids. We like to have fun and get creative. We recently just bought a travel trailer so that we can travel and expose our kids to great places.
I guess I also have a somewhat entrepreneur spirit since I love to try new things and not afraid of taking a risk (well, I am afraid but somehow manage to push through the fear). I started a business about a year ago selling cloth diapers and other reusable type products. My hopes is that one day the biz will do well enough to support a women's shelter that I want to open in our area. One day.

Dogs have always been a part of my life. Since I was a kid. I grew up with Yorkies and a Boxer. My mom worked for a vet for several years and I loved to hang out there and help out when they would let me. So, naturally, dogs are a must in my adult life too. But only recently have I discovered and admitted out loud that I am, specifically, a chihuahua person. Love some chi!
