Just wanted to say hello to everyone here and check in real quick! I have not been on much lately. When I am on, I have just quickly skimmed new posts, barely posting. I just started student teaching in 4th grade!!! This is the last step before I earn my degrees and become a certified teacher! Although it is so much fun and I LOVE teaching and talking to my students ... it leaves me with NO time to do ANYTHING but complete lesson plans and everything else that comes with teaching!

Roxy is staying at my parents house while I am away at school. I don't want her left alone in my little apartment with my roommates, people walking in and out all day long, while she could be happy at my parents house with my family and my other dogs! So, I don't even have her here with me. IT'S SO HARD!!!!!! I could cry every night because I just want my little snuggle buddy back! I just miss her so much, and I have to live with just seeing her through pictures and a few weekends!

Anyways ... like I said, just wanted to check in! I am still here .... not going anywhere!!! I just don't have much extra time to spare right now! Hope everyone is doing well!

Student teaching is tough ... stressful ... I have several different lesson plans to write every night, with things to make and activities to come up with for my lesson plans ... by the time I'm home for the day, it's like half of my night is already gone! On top of all of the lesson planning and extra things I'm trying to do to make a good impression and be the best teacher I can be, I have an action research project to complete ... lots of data collection and implementation of my procedures, etc. etc. etc. Yikes! Lol! BUT ... I LOVE every minute of teaching my students! So, it's all totally worth it!

As a side note, I am going home this weekend, so I will get to see Roxy tomorrow! YAY!
