Thing is, being only 19, (so it wasn't that long since I was a kid too), I would never have imagined using such language. I guess it's down to upbringing. I too will ensure that my children use proper language, I manage without swearing, so is there any need for it? No.

I am guilty of having written in slang in the past. Now, poor grammar gets on my nerves. I don't see why people bother writing 'kool' or 'kewl', when the word 'cool' takes the same amount or letters and time to write. Lol. Looks awful too.
