Sorry if this is off topic, but I thought whilst we were on a political note.
You have to be 18 to vote here. We also have a two party system. They both have their faults. It seems to work very similar to the UK.

And thanks Melissa! I quite like it and finally had time to change it!!

Ashley, does your vote count in North Carolina or Florida? Since I live in Alabama, it's a lot harder to feel motivated to vote for president because our state will definitely be red at the end of the day. So, if you vote that way here it doesn't really do anything and if you vote the other way it doesn't really do anything either. I wish it was based on the popular vote, so that people who don't live in swing states could feel like they actually have a voice. But it's still a privilege that we have here that we should all particulate in.

I did an absentee ballot for Florida because my permanent address is still in Florida.

You should vote either way! Exercise your rights!!

I can see how that would be really frustrating. Yep, it's 18 here too. There are more than 2 parties but there's only two that ate ever going to get elected.
Sorry Ashley, I meant mini grace when said about the siggy. It'd be quite funny to be saying that I loved one I'd done!!

We sat down with our daughter (first time voter) and explained it all to her, explained the initiatives and referendums with her and let her make her own decisions. A very important election for sure.
