Default Message to ALL American members!

November 6 is ELECTION DAY. No matter what your politics are- please VOTE. Your voice cannot be heard if you don't speak. I hope you all have reviewed the issues and make an educated decision on who to vote for. This election will determine the path that America takes and, by extension, the world. Please take it seriously and do your duty as an American citizen.

And if you don't vote, you can't complain

Message from a young, politically minded individual excited to have already voted in her second presidential election!!!

I will be there! Have never missed an election since I was old enough. This will be my youngest boys first time voting. Yes this is very important election, probably the most important one in our lifetime, so go vote, everybody.

You got that right Ash, "and by extension the rest of the world" ... I doubt any of you would have any real idea of how the rest of the world comes to a grinding halt when the outcome is close to being announced, because it really does effect us, especially our troops and their families. We are all glued to our tv's flicking from channel to channel seeking updates, indications etc. Just the same as y'all would be I suppose if Russia or China were the Super Power

For the first time in my very long voting life (it's compulsory over here), I'll be tearing up my ballot paper next year if they don't get someone decent to stand, and that's really saying something, because I am a very staunch voter!!!

Those who're in doubt about voting, or just never bother, how can you leave the decision of who's going to run your country to others? I just don't get it?

I voted, I am crossing my fingers the right person is elected. We could really go down two different paths with either president.

How old do you have to be to vote over there? I voted last time here but for us it's a case of there's only two parties who ever get elected and they're both as bad as each other. No one ever does what they say they're going to do so it's all guess work any way. I don't suppose it works quite the same way in the US. Are you guys in Australia giving up the Queen soon?

Sorry if this is off topic, but I thought whilst we were on a political note.

I have dual citizenship- American and Greek and I voted through the embassy system. I am also a firm believer of you cant complain if you dont vote.

Aside from the fact that we have a bunch of imbosiles ruling us here in Greece, I say to whoever complains "there were other ballots to throw in the box"

Good luck!
