oh yippy....another motherbnature bein a crackpie right after hurricane sandy....maybe the world is comin to an end and this is the way were supposed to be killed oft slowly...i for one am sick of all this...it snowed more than 10 inches of accumlation from yesterday till today...driving was horrible with the slush and all while snow was hittin the faces for the walkers...windchill was insane last night. Power is out yet again at my house as well as others...off to sleep more with the furballs...hope no one else here is powerless too.... Rain and wind to come today...creatin more sheets of ice for the road

I really, really feel sorry for you and all the other people down there with no electric! This is a real nightmare for you.

Hopefully, the weather will hold out so they can get a good bit of progress on restoring everything. Being without electric is certainly a bummer, but the one thing I absolutely could not live without is water!! My son has a well and his pump is electric. Last year he lost electricity for 5 days, with 2 kids! That means no baths, no flushing toilets (you need lots of bottled water), not much cooking going on either! Yuck!

I hope you get everything restored soon!

wow thank u so much for hearing my cries LOL im so glad the power came back while i was at work...i was so relieved to hear it and nice and warm again at home oh yes well water here is ok..im sorry ur son has that problem when the electric goes out...thats def. not good i know my sprinkler system works that way. when the sprinkler is on we cant flush or use water either...so weird -.-

yay! i'm happy you got your power back on . we had some heavy wet snow from this storm. i shoveled my car out and was not happy. i'm glad the snow will melt away soon. we're supposed to have alot of Sun for the next several days and i think one day is in the low 60's

thankie elaine! eep shovelin is so not fun....but i did shovel with my hands LOL!!!~ surprisingly...ididnt feel cold...weird...must be from all that coldness i had from the week of no power...built up my ummunity to cold hands! YEAAAAA!!! yes i heard about the great weather comin too! hope it melts tomaro...plannin to go out after work
