~What Have I Done?!!!~
I don't know what possessed me to do this...I've been blonde my whole
life, but for some strange reason I decided to dye my hair brown.
This was my face when I saw myself ~~~
Went to the Doctor's today(first time out with new hair), and felt so uncomfortable.
I don't like it, I don't recognize myself, and don't even want to look in the mirror.
Hubby says I shouldn't worry, it's just hair. And don't get me wrong I love brunettes,
I think the brown shades look great on most people, but not on me. All I can say is
thank goodness it's cold out, cold = HATS! lol

Really laughing at what you said your face was like. You could always have a few blonde streaks put through it, best of both worlds then.

Haha Lisa, I have to laugh at myself. It's been such a stressful month, I guess I
thought a new hair color will make me feel better, make me feel different...well I
feel different alright.

Highlights are high maintenance and pricey, I used to get them back in the day.
As much as I love the look of highlights, it's not a good time for them right now.
I'll just have to give it time, and learn to love the new me, luckily my hair grows
fast!

I have been trying to talk myself into just dying my hair to cover the grey.
I used to get highlights but here in TX they are so expensive. I can't see paying $150 just to cover grey knowing I will have to keep up with it.
I have never dyed my hair myself but as soon as I get the courage to try it I am going to. I just have the fear I will hate it or mess it up.

I got my hubby to do it!
Crazy, I know, but he is very meticulous, so I trusted him to get it all evenly.
Of course a salon visit is always best, but we took a chance, lol, a very crazy
chance. What color is your natural hair? Do you want to go with a similar
shade or something different?

I've done that numerous times! Do you have Head and Shoulders shampoo over there - that really lightens your hair, a few washes with that and it won't seem so dark - it's always darkest when it's just dyed too. Then give it two weeks or so and put a blonde colour in it again and you should be fine
