So my dr says i have an underactive thyroid but by a teeny tiny smidge number is below average and i'm curious can a teeny tiny smidge under paw can cause a lot of problems such as depression/dry eye etc?

i have low thyroid. i dont know if it can cause depression/dry eye. i'm on a medication so my level will be normal. did your doc put you on a med? having uncontrolled low thyroid can cause weight gain

I have hypothyroid as well. It can cause skin, hair, eyes to all dry out. It can also cause lethargy, weight gain, and other symptoms. I have depression, too, but I don't know if they are connected.

I am finally on the right dose of synthroid after years and I can tell a difference already.

Yes, the tiniest bit of under activity can cause all of those problems. How tiny are your numbers? What are they? Were you prescribed medication?

i am not sure what my numbers were/are but yes he prescribed me medication. eeek

its good your doc put you on meds. he probably wants to see you back in not too long to recheck your level to make sure that your level is in the normal range

yeah he put me on a low dose 0.25mg
