I wait tables a couple days a week and then I run my dad's carlot the other 3 days a week. Nothing fancy or special, but it puts food in our tummies!

Wow! Lots of great careers! Jerry's Mom Great to have another AF veteran on here!
I went into the Air force right out of high school, did that for 6 years. It was really hard at times, and wonderful at others. I loved the travel, hated the war. lol I left a war veteran, and had no idea what I was going to do with myself. I volunteered as a firefighter, and applied to be a deputy sheriff. The process was longgggg and I was on the waiting list for a year and a half, when I found what I really wanted to do. I applied to be a dog trainer at a local Petsmart and got the job. Worked for them for 3 years and then went private for another 2. My life(And my dear indulgent husband's... ) revolved completely around dogs, and rescue. I trained for the Humane society, fostered for 3 different rescues(We taught them manners and how to live in a home. 3-4 dogs at a time.), did seminars for local stores, was a AKC CGC evaluator, took courses and joined local training clubs, and continued my canine behavior education by reading everything, attending seminars all over, and making lots of dog contacts. I would say half of my close friends are trainers, behaviorists, and groomers... lol. When I had my son, I stopped doing everything. I also developed a bunch of health issues the doctors couldn't figure out. I was even treated for Lyme disease, and they were going to test me for MS! It turns out I just have very bad allergies to a lot of unusual things, including mold, which our home had a lot of in the basement. We moved, I'm on a ton of meds, and have huge expensive air purifiers in all of the major rooms of the house. I also had to re home 2 of our dogs, and my doctor told me I can never live with a large breed again. It has been horrible, I miss them everyday, but at least they are safe and I can breath.
2 years ago I got into a new business I love to death! I always collected mid century modern furniture and art, and started re selling it. I made a bunch of contacts, so now I deal directly with dealers and collectors. It is literally the most fun job ever! I get to go to auctions, estates, and hunt hunt hunt! Half the time I feel like a treasure hunter, the other a pirate! I always get to keep the best for myself! It really has been a god send after everything. The best part is I make my own hours around the most important job I have, my son Jet, and we just found out I'm 3 months pregnant so it's about to get even busier here! I feel so lucky, and finding an amazing second career is just too amazing. Just being healthy, and with the people I love is amazing. I feel so grateful everyday.

I work full time at a nursing home as an RPN or LPN In some countries. I've applied 3 times to go back for RN all 3 times on a waiting list they only accepted 26 students this September I was number 4 on the list. Now those plans are on hold as my relationship is really taking off and we are in the midst of house hunting and making wedding plans after the wedding I plan on popping out 3 kids in a row if I can since I'm getting old lol! I may try and go back to school part time at some point if I have the time. So far I've been lucky with my newly diagnosed bladder disease and am able to still work and function hoping to continue.

I am nothing, lol. Housewife in training with a furbrat living in a foreign country. I worked in a vet kennel for 8 months before moving to Sweden and that was my only real job other than short term jobs here and there like store cashier and junk. I really enjoyed working with dogs in the kennel. I would like to become a dog trainer someday. It's funny that my mom, who has been a housewife for over 20 years, has just started working as a kennel attendant and is currently hired to train a lab puppy. It's like we reversed roles.
