I think seeing a professional could help you learn new coping skills and help you deal. This is nothing wrong with admitting you need help. I was exactly where you are today. I still have my bad days, but I've learned how to pull myself up on those bad days so they don't become bad weeks/months/years. I don't know if you are a student, but many colleges have free programs. Also, insurance usually covers mental health. I am not a huge advocate of doctors, but speaking from personal experience, when nothing else worked and it felt hopeless, I was given a second chance to be happy. I wish the same for you.
Remember that your husband has good intentions, he just doesn't understand. It's probably just as upsetting and frustrating for him to watch you go through this and not be able to help.
