OH WOW! the south west of the UK has been hit badly by floods! down where i am at the bottom of cornwall it is hurrendos ! I havent flooded and my family is ok (Except where my nan lives it flooded but her and house are ok ) but some people arent as lucky and as normal everyone forgets about us down here ! lol a place near me get evacuated , a WHOLE village! i just want to raise awarness and also see who else is effected x

Oh no Shannon! I had no idea; I'm glad your family is okay; and hope our fellow UK CP'ers are safe and dry, too!

When we lived in the city, our basement flooded a lot, and we lost quite a bit to water damage. You'll be in my thoughts!! <3

Thank you both ! I am luckily ok but many others are not , I am now in school (for some stupid reason I get in stupidly early !) and the rain has started heavy again and the wind too x

There are floods in our part of Somerset/Wiltshire too. Not enough to evacuate people, but some roads are closed and they are contemplating closing the college. The field by the river where I sometimes walk the dogs is under a foot of water. I wish it would stop raining, the dogs won't go outside! The gale force winds have also broken branches off our tree and ruined several fence panels.
