KC is short for the alcoholic drink kahlua and the c is for cream whip cream. Altho her real name is kahlula cream since we wanted it to be unique from the drink itself. The kahlua is the main ingredient of the white Russian drink me and the bf drink on special occasions with some nommy whip cream lol. Plus when KC was a puppy she was the colors of the drink

When I rehomed Mario, he was called "biscuit" I personally didn't like that name and felt silly calling out biscuit in the park! Haha
So I went through a phase where I called him Bentley and Miami and even Andre!
& we stuck with Mario in the end (:

Douglas was the name the shelter gave him. I thought it was silly and wanted to change it... but in the car ride on the way home I could not see him named anything else, so it stuck.

Calleigh was named somewhat after her mama whose name is Ryleigh. Faith is her half-sister and I named her that for inspirational reasons because my first 2 chihuahuas, Max & Pedro died that year. I really needed her to help Calleigh and me cope with their deaths. So I had "faith" that she could do that. We got Timmy at the same time we got Faith. He is a rescue and we went through several names with him. There was a few times he kept giving me this squinty-eye look and then I saw some pictures of the singer Tim McGraw with that exact same squinty eye look, so I said that's it! His name is Tim! Then I realized that I had named them after 2 country singers....Faith Hill & Tim McGraw!!!

Well Zoe is Zoe because I just like the name. Holly we got Christmas eve so I thought Holly seemed appropriate.

Toki was given to me and I named him 時 [toki] (time) meaning time of opportunity.
Kais' name is 美 [mi] (beauty) and カイ [kai] (ocean) meaning beautiful ocean.
Both are Japanese names.

Ginger: She was Tia at the shelter, and I thought the name was cute but decided to call her Ginger, mainly due to her coloring.

Precious: I really don't care for the name, but haven't had the heart to change it. She belonged to an elderly lady who could no longer care for her, so her son turned Precious in to the shelter. She is such a loving lap baby, I know her previous owner must have loved and doted on her, and can see why she gave her the name.
