Question ~Free Antivirus Trial~

I'm wondering if any of you know of a good antivirus that I can try for free?
I tried the AVG free for a month. What else is out there that's good, other
than AVG?

ps: I'm not a fan of Norton.

thanks in advance!!!

Ls, I use the free one from windows live security suit.
Never had a problem, have it set up to update automatically once a week.

I don't like Norton either. The only one I use is the Free AVG and I use Malwarebytes Anti-malware and Super Anti Spyware Free. My computer guy said that should be enough. I'm curious to see what others have to say as well.

Just had to post that at the bottom of my page, there is an AVG ad! I've used the trial versions of Avast! and BitDefender, and also the paid versions and had no complaints.

I use Avast and have had no problems..it has even detected a few things. Also Malwarebytes has helped me get rid of alot of trojans. True, if you pay you get better coverage on both, but for the most part, I am pleased.

I have the same combo and they work great together.
