My Uncle passed away yesterday with his dog Zeus snuggling next to him. My Aunt brought Zeus to the hospital where he would not leave my Uncle's side.

Missy--I know we don't know eachother all that well yet, but I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your family's loss. That picture of Zeus snuggled up to your Uncle, clearly wanting to be there for his beloved Dad at the end, is both heartbreaking and beautiful.

Missy, I am so sorry for your loss. But I am glad that he got to spend his precious last minutes with his best friend and loyal companion. Dogs are so wonderful- they give so much love and never ask for anything in return.
