I had posted in another thread talking about going to the Ice! exhibit at Gaylord Texas in Grapevine Mills, Texas.

I thought I would post a few pictures. I was just going to post my favorite ones but I have so many favorites that I figured I would just post a link to my Photobucket so I don't weigh down this thread with pictures

These sculptures are carved from 2 million pounds of ice that takes ice makers 3 months (if I remember right) just to make the ice let alone the sculpturs.

The size of them are very deceiving from the pictures some of them don't look that big but each exhibit is really big.

If you look closely you can see hubby sliding the ice slide in one of the pictures. He went really fast but I kept getting stuck when I went.

I love going but I always notice things that I missed when I look at the pictures because I start shooting pictures to keep myself warm and moving around.

It is totally even more amazing person. The first time we went. Hubby kept talking about it and I thought why would I want to somewhere that is 9 to 10 degrees and kept that way on purpose. They do it in a huge tent so that the temperature can be constant all the time. You can actually tell as you are walking through the hotel that you are getting close because it starts to get colder.

I will have to upload my Snoopy ones from two years ago. It was my favorite of all so far. Although hubby said they did a Grinch one before I moved down here I bet that one was amazing too.
