Keep your head up! This happened to us a few times when we were buying our first home, it was so annoying. People either bought cash right out from under us or wouldn't budge at all on their asking price. One house was on the market for a whole year and it was already vacant since they moved for work, they lowest they would go was $1000 under asking and they never reduced their price the entire year. Your perfect home is out there!
Aww I'm sorry it didn't work out. But I strongly believe everything happens for a
reason. I bet you'll find an even better place, that's just right for your family.

Thanks for your encouraging words. I know our home will be out there somewhere, shame it wasnt this one. I had already moved in in my head so I got a bit carried away. We have seen over 50 houses in the area and this ticked most boxes.
What I dont understand is why on earth they would give 2 prices that are 30k different, why cant they just say how much they want?! That way they spare people like me the agony of getting our hopes up
