Default Broken Toe :(

I am a total klutz in every single way.
My hubby always jokes that he is so glad I managed to keep myself alive until I met him with me being so accident prone LOL

I literally can not go by more than a month without knocking myself here and there, dropping things on myself, burning myself with the oven or iron and a particular nemesis of mine is the stairs! (which is why we moved to a bungalow, but unfortunately we will be moving to a house with stairs yet again!)

Well, as some of you might know we are moving soon hopefully and I have started packing everything in boxes and its a bit cluttered around here
Unfortunately for me that is a recipe for disaster.

I smashed my little toe on our wooden wardrobe (and even hubby heard the cracking sound), after which I managed to trip over and smack my head in the door knob.
I have a few bruises here and there, but the main thing is that my toe is red and swollen and VERY painful.

I did put ice on it and took pain killers, tried to wrap it to my other toe with plasters and have been in bed all day. Unfortunately for me I have 3 days of work ahead of me and I can't back out (because of the snow many people can't make it so I can't just take time off) and at work I am always on my feet or running around like a headless chicken (I work as a pharmacist on weekends, but before I hurt myself I agreed to do today i.e. Friday too)

I shall be having a blast

I broke my toe once ! It takes a long time to heal because you constantly put weight on it - despite your best efforts to walk flat-footed. It is also impossible to immobilize - an anatomical splint (Tapeing your bad toe between two good toes) is your only option. Make sure you ICE as often and as long as possible - those little guys swell up fast - especially when taped. Good luck !

Default Broken Toe :(

You poor thing! I hurt my knee a long time ago, the lack of mobility was way worse than the pain! I'm a major clutz too, so I can definitely relate. I hope you feel better soon!!

Well I have managed 2 days of work, the pain has been getting much worse
I tried to take tom off but they said no
Oh well, just one more day and I will lie in bed for a few days.
