Hi Everybody,

Lately I just haven't had time to check up on Chi People, I've been soo busy!

Kyle and I broke up a little over a month ago, totally mutual, and we are still living in the same apartment due to the terms of our lease (not sharing a room, though, thankfully!)

Kyle has recently expressed to me that he doesn't intend to take Brewster with him when he moves out (I was under the impression that he was more Kyle's..), so I will totally be taking care of him. Couple that with my responsibility for the elderly rescue (Puff), school, dance rehearsals, working out, attempting to become the executor to my dad's estate, and everything else going on in my life.. and I'm beyond maxed out. Ahhh!

Puff is really thriving and everyone who knows her from when I first got her says she looks a million times better. I have her on a 4-star food and Missing Link. She needs her tumors to be biopsied and major oral care, but I'm not sure it's worth it since she is around 13 years old.. I feel bad saying that, but it would be upwards of $800 in vet bills that I cannot afford. Fundraising is possible, but I'm considering fundraising for her monthly bills as it is (food + supplements + comfortis + grooming.)

Anyways, I'm happy except for the stress and I'd love to become more active on here again. I miss you all! Kisses to everyone and their doggies.

I'm happy to see you around again. I'm sorry to hear about Kyle, but I hope that
although it is a difficult time, it all works out in your best interest. It sounds like
you have a lot on your plate right now, but I strongly believe that we are never
given more than we can handle, it all happens for a reason. Stay strong my

Sorry you have/are having a rough time.Things will work out, they usually do. If you want the best for your chi & you think she needs medical attention, I would find the means to do it, at least a little at a time. 13 years old is still young for a chi. They can live up to 20 years old. Oral care is a big part of their longevity. Sounds like you have a great, positive attitude. Keep up with the positiveness in your life & things have a way to work to your advantage.

The 13 year old, Puff, is not a chi. She is a 65lb mutt My chi is only 3 years old and his name is Brewster.
