Hi! Sorry I havn't goten back to ya sooner but I had to stop and work my real job. ( dumb bills had to get paid, lol)
The toggle clasps are very secure. I don't use lobster claws due to the problem of them breaking or wearing out and possible choking hazard for the babies. The clasps are actually knit into the fabric so they cannot come undone nor is there any parts to break off. Unlike a chain bracelet or necklace like we would wear, there is no give to the chain it just crumples. However due the way I make the stitches they move and strech and spring back just like a sweater so they don't come undone. The stitches also give breathability to the collars so they don't get sores or knots in thier hair and can be moved and streched to even groom under them.
When I designed them I wanted something super safe and secure, that could have no possible choking or weight issues ( even if caught on something),that was super cute but not expensive, but could be worn everyday even through a walk in the woods and that would stay looking nice even after years of wear.
The prices will vary due to size but most of them range between $8-10.00US with 2.95 shipping for as many as you order. I'm also working on ones for larger breeds and have sold MANY to cat owners ( wait till you see the pics customers have sent, sooo cute!) I also have some super pretty ideas for christmas and winter ones. I also will have more styles later on as I can develop them.
I started this because Angel was so little nothing would fit her and I also have a pugapoo and I was concered with the weight of the nylon and commercial made collars on thier little necks. Once I made some for my babies and they worked so well and I enjoyed making them so much and fawning all over them, thats when I decided to sell them. I figured if I had this problem, others probly did too and I wanted to make safe, comfy stuff for other fur babies.
I'll be popping in and out the next few days as I update the website some more, so let me know if you have anymore questions. I'm happy to answer them! **hugs**
