I am picturing the dimensions of the carrier. I see a 5 X 8 index card on end that is 13" long...
Jerry is 5 1/2 pounds, 10 months old. The carrier you mentioned would be way too small for him Sorry...

you can probably find a buyer for it on here... many people have tiny chi's.

I think that is the size I have, Rico is over 4 pounds but under five and he has room to turn around in this bag. He really loves it. The netted sides are great, it has loads of pocket space and it looks like a handbag. I think that you'll do nicely with it.

Your pup is really cute.

I LOVE THIS CARRIER! The KB Alex is the only style I use regularly - so discreet and beautiful. I have both a small and large Alex. I find that for very quick trips the small works ok, but that for longer car rides, airplane trips, etc. the large is a much better deal. My chi is 5 pounds and long, and just barely fits in the small with no room for a blanket or a toy. I would really recommend the larger one for your dog - he looks like a long-haired chi and would feel much more comfy in the large I'm sure. The difference in size between the small and large is pretty noticeable, but the dog's comfort is top priority.
