Default BestBullySticks shipping question... Is this common?

Hello everybody!
So this is my first time ordering from BestBullySticks. I usually just pick up their bullysticks while I'm in town but decided to go this way for a change.
Ordered them some stuff and was notified that delivery was scheduled for Saturday 7-2-10. Well with the holiday I assumed it would be delayed, not a terribly big deal.
Well now tracking says it was transferred to my local post office (WTH??) and that the post office attempted delivery and left notice. I did not receive notice. NOR did I ask or was I notified it was going to be transferred at all?
I emailed BestBully, but what is going on?!? Why would they do that, and has it happened to you? Seriously concerned about my package now.
Thanks for weighing in, any thoughts are appreciated!

I've never had problems either, they just leave the package in my mailbox or if its too big, on my front door step. It is always given to the local post office 1st, no clue why?

It is very odd, indeed.

Usually my Post Office will just leave things behind the plant at the door, and if it's a HUGE package that can't be hidden a message is left at the door. But nothing, so I'm very worried.

Thanks for sharing your BestBully shipping experiences. Good to know it's always given to the post office first though!

Could the message have blown away...? Mine use those little sticky notes if they leave a msg and I would not call it a rugged way to leave a message lol.

Ya, I suppose something like that could have happened. It's just not typically real "breezy" by the walkway.
We'll see tomorrow I guess.
It is nice to know it's common for them to use the post office for deliveries. Just very odd..!

I've never had a problem. They just leave the package outside on my door step. I hope you get your package soon.
