Default Oh my!!! PERIOD!

As you know I'm a new chi owner, I just noticed princess private parts were swollen but pay no mind as she was humping things earlier but as she nap on my bed I noticed a lil red on her and looked closely she seems as her period started! What do I do? I'm nervous about this ! I'm getting some doggy pads right now. She is schedule to get spay on the 20th but got move to 25 due to vets busy schedule. Is there any advice?tips? I don't know about this subject ! Please please what I do ?

Well the bleeding won't last very long 5 days to a week, but she will be in heat much longer then that 2-3 weeks! There is different phases of a female in heat!!! There's only a few days where she is very fertile!

Ok I thought they bled for 3 weeks! do chi usually bleed a lot? Will it change her appetite mood? Sorry for the overwhelming questions I'm freaking out. 😬

Hopefully is same for princess !! How old is Chica? I'm wondering because I have no known history of princess so all this is a surprise to me.

Firstly, don't panic, she will be fine. Some bitches bleed a lot, some hardly at all.
She will need to be kept away from male dogs for 3 weeks, and you will have to reschedule her spay as vets won't perform the operation whilst the bitch is in season.
Some get clingy, some get moody, and yes appetite changes are normal, but this too will pass.
